Yoga Classes in Market Deeping

You don't need to be flexible to start yoga

Being flexible isn't a requirement for yoga. Neither is knowing the poses, being able to touch your toes or keeping up with the person next to you.

My classes give you options and time to understand what works for your body. Some days you might want to challenge yourself; other days you may choose a different version of the same movement.

Yoga isn't about achieving the perfect shape. It's about developing a practice you can keep coming back to — building movement, strength, confidence and awareness along the way.

Not sure which class to choose?

You don't need to know your Hatha from your Vinyasa before you arrive, and you don’t have to choose just one! Each class has a different pace and emphasis. Choose according to your experience, what you enjoy and the kind of practice you want that day.

Find the yoga that works for you

Hatha Foundations

More time to learn, explore and practise.

A steadier-paced Hatha yoga class with time to explore individual poses, movement and technique. Expect plenty of guidance, different options and space to understand what you're doing before moving on.

Foundations doesn't mean easy. There's still room to challenge yourself, build strength and develop your practice — just with a little more time to find what works for you.

Good for: newer yogis, anyone who enjoys a steadier pace, or experienced practitioners who appreciate more time to explore.

Hatha Intermediate

For when the foundations already feel familiar.

A more physically demanding Hatha yoga class with more movement, effort and independence. We'll spend less time introducing familiar poses, leaving more time for progressions, transitions and challenge.

You'll be comfortable bearing weight through your hands, moving through Sun Salutations and familiar with poses such as Downward-Facing Dog and Warrior II.

Good for: yogis with some experience who want more challenge, movement and independence.

Flow / Vinyasa

Move, breathe and put it all together.

A flowing yoga class where poses and movements are linked into sequences, with less stopping and starting than Hatha. Expect to build warmth while exploring strength, mobility, balance and coordination.

You'll always have options, so you can decide how much challenge you want to take on while still enjoying the rhythm of the practice.

Good for: yogis who enjoy continuous movement, flowing sequences and a more energetic practice.

Restorative

Slow things right down.

A slower, quieter yoga class using bolsters, blankets and other props to support the body in comfortable positions held for longer periods. Expect much less movement and physical effort, with plenty of time to settle, breathe and be still.

It's a very different kind of yoga — and a useful counterpoint to busy lives and harder training.

Good for: anyone looking for a slower, quieter practice, time to rest and space to support nervous system regulation..
